Growing up in Calgary, Banff has always been Carla’s backyard and outdoor playground. She is continually inspired by Banff’s community and commitment to environmental sustainability. Chief Executive Officer ReLondonChief Executive Officer ReLondon<div class="ExternalClassF95060C68F4B4E7882EB3CAF8C28085C">Wayne is the Chief Executive Officer of ReLondon, where he is responsible for helping London’s boroughs to reduce waste and increase recycling rates, and helping to accelerate the development of a low carbon circular economy. He has been working for ReLondon since 2008. Prior to this, he was the Head of Waste Policy at the Greater London Authority. Wayne is a trustee on the board of the Chartered Institution of Wastes Management. Senior Fellow, Smart Prosperity Institute and Natural Step CanadaSenior Fellow, Smart Prosperity Institute and Natural Step Canada<div class="ExternalClass648CE89199E54955B8165B19796F7695"></div><p>Barb Swartzentruber is a Senior Fellow and Program Director of Agriculture and Food Systems at Smart Prosperity Institute and Natural Step Canada. She works as a strategist, catalyst, and connector with government, businesses, and communities to respond to urgent social, economic, and environmental challenges through civic innovation, regenerative practices, and circular economy strategies. As a global leader in place-based innovation, system change and community capacity building, she convened and led a collaboration of local governments, business, academic and community leaders to win Canada's Smart City Challenge. Built on a shared vision and goals, and a distributed leadership and governance model, they co-produced a portfolio of over 60 system change projects for re-imagining a circular, sustainable regional food system. Barb has taught public policy, intergovernmental relations, community development, and system change at several Canadian universities. Senior Researcher, Urban Futures StudioSenior Researcher, Urban Futures Studio<div class="ExternalClassC8A968CABA314FFDBF74A5CED4FC8939">Blake is a Senior Researcher at Utrecht University’s Urban Futures Studio, and a Senior Associate at OneEarth. For over 12 years, he has worked on issues of urban sustainability, focusing on how resources can be better used in cities to improve lives and reduce environmental impacts. He led and contributed to a number of projects relating to urban resource consumption for UNEP and the International Resource Panel during his time at Stellenbosch University, and has more recently led the circular economy in cities programmes at ICLEI Africa and Circle Economy. Meaghan is working to advance Toronto's aspirational goals of zero waste and becoming Ontario's first city with a circular economy. Her current focus is on ramping up efforts to incorporate circular principles in City procurements, projects, and communications strategies. OneEarth Living <span id="ms-rterangecursor-start"></span><span id="ms-rterangecursor-end"></span>​collaborates with partners including C40 Cities to transform how people live their lives – what they need, what they consume and produce, and what they aspire to – enabling everyone to live good quality lives within their fair share of our planet’s resources. Vanessa is also a Senior Research Fellow at Utrecht University.
